Host an event here! Solana Event Space has seen all kinds of events, including: Showers, small weddings, brunch, birthday parties (1st-50th), grad parties, celebration of life, candle making parties, and the list goes on.

Classes

Use the event space to host a class! Painting, cookie decorating, jewelry making... Any class you can think of! Bring your own drinks and cups/dishes and craft away! This option is available Monday-Friday 9am-10pm

Photography

Solana Event Space is known for its bright and airy feel. Use it to take photos of products, headshots, family pictures, holiday pictures and more. This option is $50/hour and available

Solana Event Space is a pre styled event space so all you have to do is show up with your drinks in hand! We come highly recommended by many in the Excelsior Springs and surrounding areas for Showers, Birthdays, Kids Birthdays, Retirement Parties, Holiday get togethers, Celebrations of Life, Micro Weddings, Tea Parties, Corporate Events, and even Photography Sessions. There is no limit on what you can do in this beautiful space. Uniquely styled with plenty of photo opportunities. Rent the space as is or check out our add ons to really make your event POP!

Timeslots are from walk in to walk out so your set up and take down is included in your event time​

  • 1000 sq. feet / Seats 45 as is and up to 65 with extra fold up chairs

  • Large parking lot available for use

  • Industrial Sized Sink and Full-Size Fridge in back room

  • Bar with mini refrigerator, wine refrigerator, drink dispensers, bar accessories & cake stands

  • Record Player with Records & Bluetooth Hook-Up

  • Bring your own caterer & bartender - food & alcohol NOT available through Solana

The FAQ's:
​
Can I book a kids party?
YES!!! We love kiddos!!! Yes, the space is decorated but we aren't worried about kids touching things. The glassware is high up and the furniture is all well loved. We've had everything from a 1st birthday to a 75th. Bring the kids and let them run wild!
​

How do I book an event?

All Bookings are processed through the website here. Just click below on "book event" pick a date and time and check out online!

​

Can I come in early to get more time to set up?

Sometimes we have multiple events in a day. All event timeslots include your set up and tear down time so if you need more time, consider booking a larger timeslot or adding an extra hour for $75.

 

What if I need to cancel my event?

We have a 14-day cancellation policy. Please let us know within 2 weeks of your event if you need to reschedule or cancel in order to get a full refund.

How to I enter and leave the event space?

To enter: Typically, someone will be here to open the front door for you. (If that changes, we will be in direct contact) and to leave (depending on the time) you will either leave out the front door, or if no one is there to let you out, you will use the back-alley door. Just shut off all lights, lock the front door and lock the back-alley door behind you.

Do you offer catering or bartenders?

Solana does not offer catering or bartending. You can bring in your own food and alcohol in whatever way caters best to your event. We do not have a recommended list of caterers or bartenders at this time. 

​

What do you provide?

We have a large bar with mini fridges underneath, a full-size fridge/freezer in the back along with an industrial sink for washing dishes. We do have barware behind the bar for you to use. We have 2 6ft rectangular fold up tables along with 20 additional fold up chairs. You will have paper towels and basic cleaning supplies. We do not provide napkins, plates, cutlery or tablecloths.

Can I book the Event Space for photos or classes?

Yes! Photo sessions are $50/hour and classes are $5 per person in attendance. If you just want to pop up, it's free! Email me for more details at solanaonbroadway@gmail.com
